Ping’s New JAS Range Putters
PING is a brand of high-quality golf equipment, as well as one of the largest of the remaining American manufacturers of golf clubs, based in Phoenix, Arizona, founded by Karsten Solheim, who was an engineer at the General Electric company. In 1959, he started making his own putters in his garage in Redwood City, California. In 1967, because of increasing demand for his putters, he resigned his job at General Electric in order to fully develop the PING company. Currently, PING produces clubs in every equipment category: drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters.
PING continues its reputation for manufacturing some of the finest putters on the market with the launch of two new models, the JAS Craz-D and JAS-Craz-E Moment.
The new JAS putter models rely on multi-metal technology and a lightweight nano-nickel insert to enhance feel and forgiveness. The Craz-E Moment and Craz-D models have also been designed with multi-tiered alignment systems to improve accuracy.
Engineered with a stainless steel outer body and urethane inner section to maximize perimeter weighting, both models provide an extremely high MOI to keep putts on line. The face of the putters feature a polymer insert that has been coated using nano-nickel technology to produce a solid sound and feel.
The JAS range of putters represent yet another advancement in feel, forgiveness and alignment from a company synonymous with putter design, and as always with PING, the entire range has been manufactured so that each model can be custom fitted to suit individual putting strokes.
The JAS Craz-D and JAS Craz-E Moment come with a matching head-cover, and it will satisfy your taste.
