Probably not one of the below novelty gifts not unless you want to come to an unhappy ending – golf clubs can make nasty weapons when swung in anger you know. Golfers can have a one-track mind when it comes to the game, witnessed by the popular golf joke about the father-son talk’.

The father-son talk

A father spoke to his son, It’s time we had a little talk, my son. Soon, you will have urges and feelings you’ve never had before. Your heart will pound and your hands will sweat. Okay, so this is one of those novelty golf balls that probably won’t go down to well if your golfer owns a very expensive luxury car, but if you own a beat up banger, than the fun will be all yours. The Smasher is a sticker that looks like smashed glass with half a real golf ball in the middle. Stick it on the windshield and it looks like a golf ball has smashed through!

Once more, this gimmick probably won’t be appreciated by the more intense player. This gag is up there alongside the exploding golf ball slip this spring-loaded gadget into the hole, and when the ball falls in, it springs right out again.

Looks like a regular golf ball! But naturally it isn’t. This golf ball explodes on impact. Just make sure your golfing buddy doesn’t have heart problems.

Imagine the scene your golfing buddy is nearing the end of the best game of golf in his life. He only has one putt to make to feel like Tiger Woods. He is in golfing heaven when you switch his golf ball for The Wobbler when he’s not looking. He takes the putt and the ball wobbles its way across the green missing the hole and ruining his game. Warning: Do not use unless you want to risk your life and friendship.

You’re probably better off buying novelty toilet roll than ruining your golfing friend’s game by messing with their golf balls.
